Please write in MLA format explaining your marketing strategy and why it will work. Emphasis should be placed on explaining how everything will work together to bring audiences in for this production.
Scene or Costume Justification Paper
Students will also submit Justification Paper 500-750 words explaining their design choices.
Please write in MLA format. Emphasis should be placed on explaining the connections between the research and its application to specific set or costume details and how they support the story.
Remember this is research, you need in-text citations and a Works Cited page.

CRITIQUE—300 points ( for 2 theatre productions)
1 Musical (150 pts.) and 1 Play (150 pts.) and it does not matter which one you do first.
You are required to attend two(2) outside events in order to write critiques explained in the section below:
LIVE THEATRE or CURATED PROFESSOR PRODUCTION—MUSICAL, PLAY, OR OPERA.
Attendance must occur within the student’s enrolled semester and have at least 750 words (approx. 4-5 pages).
NOTE: With the onset of Covid-19, if you cannot attend a live event you may watch a faculty-approved recorded performance. This is provided for you within the class.
Written critiques WILL NOT be accepted. The paper needs to be typed in MLA format. Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar are required as are paragraph construction, content, and overall organization. Please contact the Writing Center if you need help in these areas.
