In two more pages, contrast your two instances of the word’s use, in order to show how its meaning or connotation differs under different circumstances, or how it connects situations that you would not expect to be connected.
This part of the assignment is an exercise for your analytic skills in close reading. I’d aim for three paragraphs, one about instance A, one about instance B, and one making some conclusion about the contrast between them. If none of the instances of your word seem to yield very satisfying contrasts, start over with a different word.
