The phrases below are sentence fragments, run-on sentences, and/or comma splices.  Using punctuation, conjunctions, and subordinating words, make them into grammatically correct sentences.

1.       In April it rains a lot then all the flowers come out in May.

2.       Many people don’t eat enough fiber.  Because they don’t think it can be tasty.

3.       While it may take more time.  It’s a good idea to prime the walls then paint them for the best results.

4.       Since I took French in high school I had no trouble learning Portuguese as an adult.
