I’m working on a business law question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
1. Organic Grocer employed Jacobson as its manager and gave her authority to purchase supplies and goods for resale. Jacobson had business dealings with Acme Electronics Company. Jacobson contacted Acme and had it deliver a color television set to her house. She told Acme  that the set was to be used in promotional activities. The promotional campaign did not take place, and Jacobson disappeared from the area, taking the television set with her. Acme now seeks to recover the purchase price of the set from Organic Grocer. Will Acme prevail? Please explain.
2. Jordash agreed to work for Mississippi Grain and Feed Company as a salesman starting on May 1 until November 30. He received a small salary and a generous commission on each sale. On October 1, Jordash concluded negotiations with Beauregard Hanson that would have given Jordash a six figure commission. Later that day, Mississippi Grain and Feed Company fired Jordash. Does Jordash have the right to conclude this deal?
3. Donaldson was an employee of the Southern Atlantic Power Company. His job consisted of turning the power off of customers who were four months behind in their payments. Donaldson was instructed to cut the power to Georgette School of Beauty even though Georgette, the owner, protested that she was current in her payment to the power company. As a result of the discontinuation of the power, Georgette was unable to hold her famous hair demonstration and lost the opportunity to make $76,000. She sued Donaldson, won, and was paid by Donaldson. Donaldson is now suing the power company. Will he receive reimbursement from the company?
