In this reaction paper, you are expected to represent and engage the author’s main arguments and integrate the insights gleaned from the class discussion. Engagement with the author’s main arguments can take many forms, including evaluating the author’s main argument in the reading, wrestling with the interpretation of a dense (albeit seemingly important) passage in the text, or exploring the possible connections of an author’s thesis to other ideas covered in the seminar.
