a. draw the ASM chart using 1-bit decision boxes

b. draw the ASM chart using (where appropriate) 2-bit decision boxes to simultaneously test x1 and x2.

Note: a 2-bit decision box has 4 outputs, depending on whether the values being tested are 00, 01, 10, or 11.
