This is a small group project. You will be paired in breakout rooms. You will work on one submission, but each team member will submit to their individual Canvas accounts. Each submission should include the name(s) of the other team members.
Using the techniques covered in class,
search three individual sites for file types xls, xlsx, and CSV.
search for the above file types in conjunction with at least two of the following search terms: COVID-19, cryptocurrency, unemployment rate, real estate values in NYC, or any other search term of your choosing.
Down load and examine them. Provide the link to one of them in your response. I will enter the breakout rooms to discuss next steps.

Group Project: PART 1A: Company Background
Throughout your assigned textbook, Robbins and Judge (2015), and Schermerhorn and Bachrach (2017) highlights several Case Studies, Photos, and various corporations, or companies in which has an organizational or management Dilemma (Problem or Opportunity) in order to help illustrate, complement and enhance the learning of selected terms & concepts surrounding Organizational Theory & Management.
For Week 3, use Textbook, the PPT Presentations and / or Google and review Online Resources, and please do the following:
Task #1:
Communicate with your pre-assigned group members, or join / Sign-Up into one of the Groups that is listed in the “Group Project” button (Group 1 – 8) (Group 9 is for Solo projects ONLY)
For the very first part of your research application, select and discuss the name of the corporation or a company with organizational or management dilemma/issue that you would like to initiate your Group’s first research application on (the instructor will assign a list of MNCs to select from.

As a Team, Complete PART 1a Only: Conduct research on the background & history of the company that your group has chosen – as outlined in the group research project requirements
Task #3:
Group leaders – please assign each team member with a task to complete and post PART 1A: The background & history of your selected company’s information – as discussed in class, and as outlined in the Research application_Guidelines and Rubric . All drafts submitted have to be written as an essay format (NOT in bullet points).

File attachment capability is not available on the Discussion Board. Each group member needs to copy paste their assigned parts on the Discussion Board which at the end should be compiled by the Group Leader as a Word Doc before submission. For each week, each group member will be graded individually based on their post.

Give a brief description and background of the publicly traded company the group selected (i.e.):
Name of company and when the company started
Where they are located (headquarters) & number of locations, employees
Founder(s) and / or current CEO – and how would you characterize the leadership
Stock ticker symbol and NAICS code
Industry/sector in which the company is listed as
What specialized products and / or services does this company offer
The organization’s main competitive strategies for the industry it operates in
Features and / or culture of the company’s organizational structure
Discuss if the company has B2B or B2C business model
Discuss at least one company in which your selected organization is or was known for working with
What is your company’s position or definition on social responsibility, and how does the company demonstrate its social responsibility
Identify at least one Ethical Concern (i.e. employee or management problem) in which the company or management has been noted for (good or bad)
