For this project, you can use any web programming language you like (including WordPress). However, you are NOT allowed to use any available website design tools/websitebuilders, such as Wix,and, you are NOT allowed to use any Plug ins of WordPress or other similar web development languages(you will get a Zero if do so). You will be asked to explain your code at the end of the semester. If you don’t know your code or cannot explain the meanings of your code, you will get a Zero for this term project.All codes will also be compared. If I find a student A copied his/her code from another studentB, Both student A and B will get Zeros for the project! For the Term project part I, you need to turn in your server URL, user name and password, and other required documents; for the Term project II, you need to turn in your Mendix user name and password. Please double check your user name and password before you turn them in(You will lose2 points if your log in information is not complete or doesn’t work). Here are the steps you need to complete:
Section A (10%)
1.You need to choose a business from the business pool(listed below). You assume that this business will be your startup business and you need to develop a website for your business.

•Online movie ticket store (selling movie tickets to your customers)•Online grocery store (selling groceries to your customers)
•Online game store (selling games to your customers)
•Online magazine store (selling magazine subscription to your customers)
•Online communication store (selling membership plans to your customers)
•Online education store (sellingonline courses to your customers)
•Online health products store (selling health products to your customers)
•Online Office supplies store (selling office supplies to your customers)
2.You need to design a business logo. (don’t worry about this step)
3.The name of your company should include your first name. For example, my company can be: Fan’s bookstore.
4.You need to choose a free server (please see the recommended server list on Canvas) and register an account. Your website program shouldbe uploaded to this server and run on this server. (There are many free servers, it’s not recommended to purchase any server space or account).
5.You need to develop a few web pages (use HTML and CSS) for your business, including home page with your business logo, business introduction with your name in it(About Us), a page listing your products or services to sell(you can make your own decision about the products and services, 5 –10 products or services will be enough), a page for customer to register in your database, and a customer check out page. Due by 09/13(you need to turn in your website URL, your server URL with your user name and password)
