Team Project Written Report Content
• Describe the work environment you are studying (include photos,
diagrams, tools used)
• Summarize the workforce profile (gender, years on the job, age range,
workforce anthropometrics, discomfort or injury history, etc. – include
tables/charts)
• Conduct a Ergonomics Job Safety Analysis: inventory the essential job
tasks being performed (utilize a job analysis template).
• Identify the at-risk exposure (e.g., force, frequency, posture, duration and
at-risk behavioral practices).
• Determine the potential type(s) of musculoskeletal discomfort and injuries
that could occur performing such tasks.
• Recommend potential solutions to address the ergonomic risk exposures,
dollar cost to implement, timeline to implement and metrics to evaluate
progress and successful outcome (engineering controls, administrative
controls and educational controls).
• Develop an employee ergonomics awareness and training program
syllabus and curriculum to raise awareness and prevent future injuries.
• Create an operating budget to fund project and describe return on
investment (staffing, equipment, etc).
