I’m working on a nursing question and need a sample draft to help me learn.

1. According to the article, three major sources of stress were identified, which included academic activities, interpersonal/social interactions, and clinical training. Several studies identified academic demands as the most significant source of stress for health science students. Students described examinations and a high workload as the major factors contributing to academic stress. Interpersonal or social stressors with family and peers were cited in 15 studies. In another study conducted in Saudi Arabia, nursing students identified relationships with hospital staff to be a source of stress.

2. If you’re constantly under stress, you can have physical symptoms, such as headaches, an upset stomach, high blood pressure, chest pain, and problems with sex and sleep. Stress can also lead to emotional problems, depression, panic attacks, or other forms of anxiety and worry.

3. Some methods of stress reduction and/or management include: exercising regularly, getting out in the sunlight, drinking less alcohol and caffeine close to bedtime, setting a sleep schedule, not looking at your electronics 30-60 minutes before bed, trying meditation, or other forms of relaxation, etc.

4. Some ways to recognize stress, and there are quite a lot, are negative mood, anxiety, depression, decreased mental function, addictive or vice behaviors, appetite/weight changes, physical pain, changes in sleep, fatigue and sexual wellness, and frequent sickness.

5. Some things I do in order to reduce stress personally are to take a break from responsibility whenever it is viable and do things that I enjoy doing like playing video games, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, going on my phone or laptop and watching some of my favorite shows, and exercising. With all of those things set aside, for me, the best way to handle stress is to change the outlook that I have on whatever situation is stressing me out for the better.
