1. The horrific massacre in Las Vegas, on October 1st, 2017 marked a new wave of mass shootings and a need for a closer examination on “domestic” attacks. From what you have learned so far in your readings, how would you able to explain the following:
a. the motive behind the Las Vegas shooting
b. whether or not this act should be classified as an act of terrorism. If so, what type?
c. what are some of the policies that should be set in place to prevent future similar attacks?
d. how will this attack change peoples’ view of “Las Vegas,” night life, and overly crowded events?
