2. You are writing a Reading Journal in response to Floors 5 & 4. This time, rather than answering specific questions, you are going to choose what to write and reflect about.
3. Consult the Reading Journal Overview Notes for guidance and sentence stems.
4. Your response (as a whole) should be 300 words – minimum. Assignments that do

5. Your response must include:
a. Two quotes from the text
b. Reflection/Analysis on some literary elements & devices
c. Reflection/Analysis on one or more of the themes:
i. Grief

iii. Loss of Innocence
iv. Toxic Masculinity
v. Cycle of Violence
Format:
– Include an MLA heading
– Size 12, Use a legible font.
– Double space your response.
