·                     One of the objectives for growth as a professional is to demonstrate you are a continuous learner. Pursuing the master’s degree is certainly an indicator of this desire. However, what does one do after the master’s if they do not desire pursuit of a Ph.D.? One method is through certification.

·                     As you start or continue your career in logistics and supply chain management, it is important to understand which is right for you.

·                     Currently, there does not exist a formal license for logistics and supply chain management. However, there are many licenses to practice that exist, such as import/export licenses, transport licenses, etc.

·                     Certifications, designations and licensing are all commitments to the process of being a continuous learner.

It is important to understand what the certification and the sponsoring organization requires, and to understand how they fit in your career plan.

·                     Utilizing the information above, write 2-page summary identifying at least one professional certification that may play a role in your career.
