A. After reading Chapter 8 and the assigned PDF articles, it’s now time to design your own marriage system. Your task is to take beneficial characteristics from at least 3 marriage and family systems you have learned about from the readings and combine them to form a new marriage system. The point of this exercise is to show how potential benefits from different systems can complement one another.
Include benefits from the 3 systems covered the readings:
B. Using a PowerPoint presentation, describe how your marriage system works. Be sure to name your marriage system!
Explain the different parts of the system, and discuss the inspiration behind your new marriage system: What marriage systems inform your unique way of marriage and why?
Next, explain how your particular marriage and family system can be beneficial to people residing in the United States or another location. How will your system serve the people of that community?
Finally, identify potential challenges that people and families may face in your particular system, and explain how people might overcome these challenges.
*Throughout your marriage system description, be sure to include citations that refer to the readings you use and create a bibliography at the end of your presentation. Refer to the “Citation Regulations for the Course” link, on the left-hand side of the course page, for citation and bibliography guidelines. Provide a clear introduction, supporting material, and conclusion in your PowerPoint presentation.
5-7 slides. You should make sure you provide rich detail in your explanation and discuss your system as outlined above
