This assignment has three parts: Do an interview, watch a webinar, then write about your experience.
1.You will interview a legal professional of your choice, preferably someone who has had some experience with mediation.
2.You will also access a pre-recorded webinar of your choice via the website for the National Association For Community Mediation (NAFCM) to gain additional insights about the use of ADR in the community.
3.After completing the interview and watching the webinar, you will write an essay(min. 650 words) describing: (1) Who you interviewed as a legal professional and what insights you gained from the interview; (2) Which webinar you chose to watch from the NAFCM (community mediation) website and what insights you gained from the webinar; and (3) How the perspectives shared by the legal professional and the NAFCM webinar (community mediation) compare and contrast with concepts presented in class (for example, the 4 principles of mediation, shuttle vs. joint session,etc.)
