Good Evening All-
What are the most critical elements of your data story that need to be communicated?
The financial impact of turnover for Verizon and the time it takes to recruit, hire, and train a new hire will need to be discussed to show the impact of the current high turnover rate. Commission and RIS changes month over month and year over year will also be factored into the data story along with door swings and employee counts to show the correlation between lack of staff, customer experience and quality of sale metrics.
How will you organize and share your data so that it tells a clear and compelling story? Select two data display techniques discussed by Duarte in Chapter 6 and/or Chapter 7 and use them to present two important data sets from your analysis.
While I may use other types of graphs during the data analysis, I intent to use the scatterplot graph to look at the relationship between employee turnover and customer experience along with employee turnover compared to revenue/growth numbers. I will compare year over year for all of these metrics focusing on the Arizona territory of Verizon. (1. Davenport and Kim) I will also use a bar chart to compare year over year metrics like total accessories, churn levels, and phone adds compared to door swings to see if there is a big difference in traffic levels pre and post covid.
