1.Some characteristics of surface-level diversity are things about someone that can be seen. Those characteristics are sex, race, the size or shape of someone. Deep-level diversity to me is someones attitude, mood swings, someones religion, culture, or beliefs. Some diversity practices that I have observed at my school are surface-level diversity. There are different people from all walks of life at Strayer University with different backgrounds. There are African Americans, Caucasions, Males and Females just to name a few examples. From my observations, there are also different cultures of people with different beliefs such as Christianity, Muslims etc. These are examples of how my school engages in surface-level and deep-level diversity. Do you agree or Disagree? Why or why not?2.Hello Professor Tillman and Class. In my opinion, I feel that a company should be able to monitor performance through Eyespy software or something similar during work hours. If the employee is on the clock they should only be doing work-related things anyway. There is no such thing as privacy in a workplace or on a work issue computer. Some companies would have their employees sign a user agreement advising them not to access any non-work-related internet site and warn employees not to use work computers for personal use. The Eyespy software also could be a good tool to determine if more training in a certain area is needed as well. Or to give praise where warned if they achieve above average in key strokes or data entry. This is also beneficial for employees who work remotely as well. No law prohibits this from the workplace or requires this to be disclosed to an employee.Do you agree or Disagree? Why or why not?
