Task 1
The Task this week invites students to reflect upon Value, Morality, and Ethics in their daily lives.Your Essay post should be 500 wds, minimum. It will include citations and references in APA format. The essay’s content should cover
Three points: 1) What is Ethics? 2) What is the difference between Value, Ethics, Morals? 3)What are the ethical decisions you find in your own life?
This essay is scholarly as well as “real life” or Anecdotal. You may use examples, but you will still need to include a full scholarly definition of each ethical term. You may use any scholarly source, such as PhilosophyBasic.com or the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. You may also include online video lectures. .
Please note: a requirement for this class is learning the academic grammar of citation and reference. Please include inline citations in your essay (last name, date, pg#) and cite any sources in the reference list of your essay. there must be a corresponding entry in the reference list and vice versa .
Your 500+ word essay (4-5 pp, not including title and reference pages) will have two parts.
A) A brief review, citations and references, from the learning resources in the Lesson, and
B) A discussion of how this Ethical Egoism might function in the decisions you make every day.
