Make sure you can get at least 140 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!
REMEMBER: You have to explain your answers. You can’t simply state a calculated answer. You have to describe all the steps you take in the calculation or else you won’t get any credit. Otherwise, you will lose points, potentially all of them, even though you have the correct answer.
You have 120 minutes to take this
Make sure that none of your answers are “generic.” By this, I mean that any answer that could be cut and pasted into a completely different context (for example, a completely different experiment) and still be correct — is a generic answer. You need to embed your answer in the context of the question.
If you are asked to calculate and answer, you do not have to type mathematical symbols. This can be time-consuming for many people, although + and – signs are easy to type, and you should do so, if need be. You must, however, explain in detail how you got your answer. For instance, if you are asked to calculate the standard deviation of a list of numbers, you would need to say I found the mean. It is ____. I then found the deviations. They are ____, ___, …. I then squared the deviations and added them together. I got ______. Then I …… etc. You NEED TO EXPLAIN YOUR STEPS. No credit for answers that just appear.
