Your statement of 500-1000 words should address the following:
- Your reasons for pursuing graduate studies in civil engineering and can include (explore new tech in the industry and keep up with trends, etc)
- How your previous studies and experience have prepared you for this program. (mention my bachelor studies as a civil engineer and mentions the subjects related as well as the capstone project) I will attach my resume for this one
- Your career objectives and how this degree program relates to them (be an expert in the structural field, and one or two more objectives and relate them to the program, which is MEng, Master of Civil Engineering)
- do not use a super fancy word, make it simple and professional, feel free to use civil engineering jargon and terminology
