-Homework Problems (200 pts)
The problems in this section will be graded and counted towards your overall grade.
For MBS Exercise problems that involve datasets, ALWAYS use Rcmdr to solve them (no
other software or package is accepted). Datasets can be downloaded as a zip folder from Blackboard/Electronic Reserves.
After you unzip this folder, you can find subfolders named “Chap1”–“Chap15” where you can find datasets
in each MBS chapter. For example, MBS Exercise 2.17 involves the dataset “MTBE” (the file name of
the dataset is right below the problem number), so you should import the dataset “MTBE.xlsx” under the
“Chap2” subfolder into Rcmdr.
