Brief history–when was it discovered as a causative agent, who discovered it, past outbreaks or trends?
Morphology–what is the shape of the pathogen? If it a bacterium, is it gram positive or negative?
Environmental conditions required for growth—at what temperature, oxygen level, UV exposure level, etc. can it survive?
Catabolism—is it aerobic or anaerobic? Does it go through ED or PPP pathways? If you have a virus assigned, please describe the catabolism of the cells it infects.
