For DB#9, each student is required to make an organizational chart for either:
One of the organizations involved in the governance of Professional Sport in North America at the league level, which “includes the league offices and the Office of the Commissioner, which constitute the structures on the management side of professional sport” (Hums & McLean, 2018, p. 300) (e.g., NFL, NHL; NBA; MLB); OR
One of the organizations involved in the governance of Professional Individual Sports in North America (e.g., PGA; USTA; NASCAR; Surfing, etc.)
Make it visually appealing and be creative!!! You can draw and color the organizational chart by hand (and take a picture and upload it to Canvas), use any drawing software, GoogleSlides, or a website.
I’ve attached an example from another semester to give you an idea of what I’m looking for.
However, on YOUR charts, I would like you to also include a brief description of at least two important tasks/responsbilities for each box/department.
