The authors will suggest that we sometimes view ourselves in unrealistic terms. They say that we may think that we are not as good or as smart as others. In fact, most all of us will suffer from self esteem issues from time to time as well.

1. How would you like to live in a society where the only human characteristic of value was how smart someone was? Would this be a nice place or a “not-so-nice” place? What would you like or dislike about it?
