1. Higher Education Exploration as Final Exam (100 points) Students will compose an oral (10 points) and written (90 points) Exploration on an issue in higher education meeting all aspects of core standard three.

For the Exploration, the student will select an issue within higher education (i.e. environmental sustainability, fundraising, creativity and innovation, campus sexual assault, etc.). Thorough historical and current event research on the issue should be conducted and examples cited from three different sources. The Exploration should be eight to ten typed double-spaced pages (not including title and reference pages, etc.) in APA style. A minimum of three referenced sources should be used during research and cited in the Exploration.

An ecopy (on BB) of the Exploration is due at the beginning of the last day of class. Included will be a self-graded rubric. Also, each student will concisely present a five-minute oral report on the Exploration. This is a formal event, modeling a graduate student conference panel presentation. Professional attire is expected.
