Southern New Hampshire University Lesson 2 Theoretical Perspectives of Maslow & Erikson Discussion

Please discuss the different theoretical perspectives of Maslow & Erikson. Apply these theoretical perspectives to the children and the Grandmother in the FSI case study. How do you believe each theory relates to these individual family members?

Please complete the Damage Inventory Assessment. Do you agree with the results you received on this assessment? Please explain. Do you think this assessment could be beneficial when assisting the FSI Family? Explain how.

Interpreting Your Score: When you are done, look at your scores for parts I and II of the Damage Inventory. For each part, the lowest total score is 120 and the highest total score is 480.

Part I score + Part II score = Total Damage Inventory Score.

Use the following table to evaluate your damage in your childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. You can see that the higher the score is, the more thorough the damage:

240 – 399: none to very little damage

400 – 549: moderate damage

550 – 960: extensive damage
