There are many issues to deal with, including weight loss, nutrition, stress management, health education, and smoking cessation. It must be remembered that participation in rewards-based wellness programs needs to be voluntary. What are two wellness programs offered by your employer, and how are they successful?
2. Some of the mental health issues we see in the workplace include stress, anxiety, depression, and chemical dependence. These issues may cause employers loss of many dollars annually. For the employee, common signs of psychological problems include depression, emotional instability, helplessness, insecurity and difficulty remembering details. What risk does this cause for employers? How can the employer reduce this risk?

Sometimes, workers are injured on the jobsite as a result of dangerous conditions. Do employees always complain about working conditions? Fear is sometimes objectively reasonable. What about workers who feel the workplace is unsafe? Can workers justifiably refuse to work, according to OSHA? If yes, what are the conditions under which workers can justifiably refuse to work?
