SOCW 4001 WU Advocate for Policy & Improving Education Policy Discussion

Discussion 1(a) As a social worker, you may work with students directly in a school setting, and this may lead to interaction with policy and the effects of policy. School social workers work to enhance the social and emotional growth of students as well as link families to systems of support in the community. For example, school social workers may work with students to help prevent bullying, developing school policies that promote positive relationships.

This week, you continue following the video case study of Amy and, with your colleagues, explore policies that may help her and her peers.
