The following assignment is based off of chapter 5 in the slides and text (I will attach as many screenshots from the chapter 5 slides as it will let me) and is designed to test your ability to perform basic research. Answer each prompt separately, in clear and concise paragraphs. This assignment should be about a page and a half, single spaced. You will need to provide a proper reference for your definition and research. Note dictionary.com, miriam webster, wikipedia, are not academic sources and you will be penalized for using the aforementioned websites. 2 Page maximum.
Prompt A
Pick a topic of sociological importance. Define the topic you picked using an official source.
Prompt B
Give an example of how you would conduct a study on this topic (from prompt A) by using each of the 5 research methods we highlighted in the slides/chapter.
Prompt C
Find, summarize, cite, and reference one research article that deals with your topic.
