The research paper consists of a minimum of 10 pages total with a minimum
of 10 references The paper must be written in complete APA format,
which include cover page, abstract (on its own page), body with in-text citation, and formal
bibliography. Papers that combine styles (APA and MLA or Chicago for example) or that do not
follow APA style are not accepted.
Topics:
1. You will choose a human identity group and write a paper that includes current
demographic data, a historical overview of the groups lived experiences in the United States,
group contributions to our society, and a look to the future. You will be required to include
articles that address the experiences of this identity group within the context of human
development and human development theory.
OR
2. You will choose a current societal issue or movement related to human diversity in the
United States. The paper will include a historical overview of the issue or movement, an
analysis of how this issue or movement connects with social justice or social change, and a
look to the future. You will be required to include articles that address the experiences of this
identity group within the context of human development and human development theory.
