Each artifact should be accompanied by two paragraphs that describe the resource and how it applies to at least TWO specific pieces of our course material or course concepts. In other words, which course resources or concepts can help us critically understand the depictions of the family in your artifact? How, specifically, do each of the resources/concepts illuminate a sociological understanding of contemporary family life? Your paragraphs must include enough detail (CITE!!!) to demonstrate that you clearly understand the course concepts/resources you are relating to your artifact and how it relates to/applies to/contextualizes the artifact you are sharing. Be systematic and concise in your writing., but elaborate enough to demonstrate your understanding. Paragraphs are typically between 4-6 sentences each.
In all, you will submit a document that presents TWO artifacts accompanied by writing that applies TWO concepts to EACH ONE – so your full submission will include discussion of a total of FOUR different concepts/course resources (a paragraph dedicated to each one) – two for each artifact.
