Ch 11 “Learning About Holidays and Fairness”, (if your edition has this chapter!, if not choose another one) and find in your book “Checklist for Assessing the Visual Material Environment” Choose 2 things that you would most definitely include in your classroom.
Choose one quote or idea from the chapter you read for homework that you think is a very important idea or concept. For each, cite the textbook and page number you got the quote or idea from. (2 chapters, 2 books = 4 quotes)
Then, briefly, tell me why you choose that quote or idea as the most important idea in the chapter? What is its meaning to you? For others? Why do you think that this would be an important idea for others to know about? Your paragraph can be 4-8 sentences.

Then write your Personal Mission Statement as an Anti-Bias teacher. fill in the blanks in the following, and then post it so that your group members can hear you too!

- List two academic or professional development goals. (finishing your degree, certificates, transferring, attending some type of special training, etc) What is your timeline for achieving these goals?
- List two resources that you learned about through class and say how you will use them to be successful going forward. (could be campus resources, catalog, job searching, etc.)
- List two personal goals that you have for yourself in the next year and your plan for achieving them.
- Talk about three important things/concepts/resources etc. that you learned about in class this semester. How will each of these help you as you move forward?
4) Now answer to each question to Course Evaluate :
- What part of this course was the best?
- What part of this course was the worse? Any particular assignment?
- What was a hard part of the course, but you knew that it was valuable to do anyway?
