This argumentative paper will be on the topic which you develop from the real persuasion. The audience will be broader and more abstract. Instead of being “your dad”, it could be all parents. Instead of being your teacher, it might be the school system or anyone concerned with education. Instead of being a racist neighbor, it could be all people who are prejudiced against recent immigrants. Try, however, somewhere in the paper to connect yourself- what you know and have experienced, as a young person, as a student, as a recent immigrant, etc. And DO state your opinions and say “I” YOU can argue both sides or just your own, as you see.
