Creative Papers: Write to the best of your ability, based on your experience or understanding of the topic, and from what you learned in class discussions. The main point is to be honest, and to write from your heart. Short Story: an original work of fiction THAT MEANS YOU MAKE UP A SHORT STORY, DO NOT REPEAT SOMETHING YOU HAVE HEARD, AND THIS IS NOT A REAL STORY THAT HAPPENED TO YOU OR TO ANYONE ELSE! Original work of fiction: You have to write a short story, an original work, meaning you wrote it yourself, and did not copy it from anywhere else. It HAS to be your own invention and creation. It should have some kind of plot, and character development in it, culminating in a climactic event and have closure. Try to use some of the literary techniques we are studying. It could be anything from a romantic story, to a comedy to drama to horror, etc.
