one of the poems that listed on the Schedule in the Week Eight block – choose only from
those 8, per the instructions below.
1. Choose one lyric OR one narrative poem from the nine listed on the Week Eight schedule.
2. Write an analysis of at least 500 words and discuss all of the topics listed below
(persona, theme, tone, diction/structure, denotation/connotation) for the poem that you
chose
