Short Paper assignments are designed to assess student comprehension of readings, theories and topics of the different key sections of the class. Each paper must address the theories, particular policies, and key issues we are reviewing in that section of the class. Papers must address the particular set of readings and cannot use a reading in more than one topic paper.
Short Paper Guidelines
Topic Papers must examine one theory and three scholarly readings, give equal analysis to each reading, and demonstrate the original work of each individual student.
Format requirements
One-page, single-spaced, typed, one-inch margins, Times New Roman, 12-point font, cited with in-text citations (author, date, page#), and spelling/grammar checked [No bibliography required.]
