Seismology Section of Geology so its based on Physics and Geology

I’m working on a physics/geology questions and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Please answer all the questions, try to the best of your ability to answer them correctly.

Notes for HW10:HW 10 Earthquake list

In the NEIC page, under output options, choose CSV

(you can also do a map and list)

After the search runs, it will create a file called query.csv

(it put this on my Mac desktop)

You can double click on query.csv to check it (opens in a default program)

Then open excel

Under file, click on import

Choose query.csv

Use delimiter and click on comma

Hit finish

The data should load in nicely formatted rows.

The magnitude is the fifth column over
