SDSU Ethical Dilemma in Medicine Question

this is the case study: Brittany Maynard was diagnosed with grade 2 astrocytoma (a form of brain cancer) in early 2014 and was initially treated with a partial resection of her temporal lobe. However, the cancer returned in April 2014, and she was subsequently diagnosed with grade 4 astrocytoma with a poor prognosis. Brittany moved from California to Oregon as California does not have a physician assisted suicide law. Oregon has the Death with Dignity law. Brittany reportedly ended her life in November 2014.

each person will write an individual paper covering the Case Study assigned to your group and covering the ethical decision making process as identified above. Please come to a decision about what outcome your would recommend and why. This paper is a comprehensive presentation of all the concepts presented in the course. Feel to find articles, videos, or additional resources to augment the discussion/paper of the case study. You will need to demonstrate the application of ethical theory and principles prior to making any ethical decision. Work through the ethical decision making process comprehensively: For maximum possible marks, please review the assignment rubric and note that a personal reflection on your decision making process is required and that the paper should be completed as an essay in APA format.
