Briefly visit a sport facility and conduct an assessment. Analyze any of their areas and provide recommendations for improving safety and to minimize organizational liability. Your assessment may be of the indoor or outdoor areas of the facilities. Inform management of the purposes of your visit if necessary.
Include in your report:
1. Brief description of sport facility; services or activities provided.
2. Risk Assessment: For each area visited, evaluate the following:
a. Hazards (surface, lighting, supervision, safety zones, equipment, etc.)
b. Security (alarm systems, cameras, access, screening, etc.)
c. Signage (warnings, maps, emergency, directional, etc.)
d. ADA (Are there appropriate accommodations? (e.g. elevators, ramps, aisles, doors, parking, sight lines, etc.)
3. Your recommendations to minimize liability
4. Include only a few photos
Prepare report in presentation slides- approximately 10-12 slides. This is not presented in a video recording. Slides only assignment.
