You need to choose 2 poems about school shootings in the U.S. and analyze them (in direct quotes/literary analysis techniques)
analyze the poem and how the poem you chose is proving your argument, lines from the poem and explain how these lines support your argument, diction (choice of word of your poem)
how people respond the school shootings through poetry, expresses the horror through poetry, call reader the action (in conclusion part),
what kind of language did the poets use to show this is why these poems are so powerful. Each quote should show/demonstrate a technique they use, how they are doing it, what techniques do they use (tone, metaphor, etc)
introduce the poems title and author in the introduction
use “I” in your conclusion to make it more personal plus answer “why does your project matter in the big picture?”
use direct quotations from the poems
MLA format and you need a few library sources to prove your argument
