I’m working on a nutrition question and need a reference to help me learn.
First question
- Alicia ate a meal that contained 42 grams of carbs, 35 grams of protein and 10 grams of fat. What percent of the calories in her meal were from:
- carbohydrate
- protein, and
- fat.
- Frank is trying a new diet that provides 1200 calories. He is eating 20% carbs, 50% protein and 30% fat. Is Frank getting the minimum of 130 grams of carbs/day?
Second question
As we are exploring different nutrition recommendations in this chapter, I would like to know what top three (3) barriers you think a person here in the United States may have to eating (mostly) nutritionally dense food throughout the day. Can you identify with those barriers?
