write notes for every slide so I can read that and speak for the audience.
It should be 10 minutes for this presentation so keep that in mind.
- Presentation PowerPoint Instructions
- All presentations must utilize PowerPoint.
- CONTENT requirements: Title slide. Include an interesting title, your name, SOBA 205, Professional
Communication, and presentation date. - Introduction Slide. Introduce the topic, provide background/history (research timeline of issue), and explain
why it is timely and relevant to the audience. - Overview Slide. Give an overview of your main points.
- Body Slides. Present at least one slide for each main point. Be sure to provide credible support.
- Visuals. You must have at least three visuals.
- Conclusion Slide. Since the conclusion is what most readers are likely to retain, make it interesting by including a
compelling example or analogy. Finish by verbally thanking your audience. Be creative.
- References Slide. This last slide should list your sources (APA). Use at least 18 pt. font, so sources are legible. You
may need to use more than one slide, which is fine. - Number of Slides. The number of slides will depend on whether you choose structured or free-form slides. Just
remember that your oral presentation will be limited to 10-15 minutes; plan accordingly.
