Congratulations! You have just been hired as the new CEO at XYZ company. XYZ company has 100 employees. You notice right away that many of the employees only know that you are the boss. Maybe you like that , maybe you don’t. However, one thing is clear, which is, the lack of organizational structure, and you know that needs to change. But how?
Describe how organizational design impacts employee behavior. To fix the lack of organizational structure at XYZ company which organizational structure model would you pick, the mechanistic or organic? Why? How would you measure success?
