Purpose
The research will provide data for security professionals and researchers on the effectiveness of machine learning techniques for cybersecurity (Al-Mhiqani et al., 2020).
In the study, existing attacks and countermeasures using the machine learning-based system will be reviewed with a forecast for developing an effective security model. The goal is to provide data and a deep understanding of the scope of machine learning, threats posed, and countermeasures. Cyber-attacks pose a risk to organizations and adversely affect operations (Ebrahimi et al., 2020).
Problem and Gap:
The main problem addressed in this research is the apparent literary gap between good exploration of machine learning and the various algorithms used and their role in enhancing cybersecurity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the literary world to identify such associations to suggest possible new ways of improving cybersecurity (Aravindan et al., 2020).
Methods:
The study design adopted for the research is the quantitative method. Quantitative research focuses on quantification and measures variables during data collection and analysis. Cyber-attacks happen targeted at organizations operating in cyberspace to alter system data and networks (Aravindan et al., 2020).
