San Jose State University Affirmative Action in HR Technology Presentation

There are instructions on how to create a good presentation in our course modules (here). I expect very thoughtfully put together slides. When in doubt, put less. If you have 2-4 sentences worth of material, I want to “hear it” and not “see it” meaning, your slides or presentation medium should have very few words. A good rule of thumb is to have an image/graphic and no more than 3-5 bullet points (if a bullet point starts to require a second line, you have too much) on each slide, as well as a clear beginning, middle, and end.

The group is in charge of proofreading to ensure the flow, grammar, and spelling of the slideshow is top notch. You may elect to have me review your slides first before you record your presentation.

Instructions (Team) – 25 points:

  • Choose your group (first-come-first-serve) and get to know each other.
  • Prepare a compelling 15-20 minute presentation on a pre-assigned topic below.
  • Record the presentation and upload into the Discussions section of our course.
  • Tip: It is strongly encouraged to focus your presentations on current events. For example, what used to be considered best practice in 2019 may not be the same now after we’ve all shifted into a work-from-home centered lifestyle due to the coronavirus and it’s severe, life-threatening impact.
