How many apps have you ever used? Have you ever thought to create a mobile app? It is never too late to learn something new.
No matter the app is for Android or iOS, creating a mobile app follows pretty much the same procedures. There are millions of webpages talking about creating mobile apps. Google it! The most important thing for a mobile app is the idea of the app, or what the app will do. It is the starting point for all of the apps. Here is an article about the procedures to create a mobile app, com/12-step-guide-to-building-your-first-mobile-app-11193-1.html?singlepage=1#.U-pZBfldWSo” rel=”noreferrer noopener” target=”_blank”>https://www.allbusiness.com/12-step-guide-to-building-your-first-mobile-app-11193-1.html?singlepage=1#.U-pZBfldWSo. (Links to an external site.) You should read Part 2, too. Melanie Haselmayr, the author, outlined a 12-step procedures to create a mobile app. These 12 steps are
1. Define your goals
2. Start sketching out your mobile app
3. Conduct research
4. Create a wireframe and storyboard for your mobile app
5. Define the backend of your mobile app
6. Test your mobile app prototype
7. Build the backend of your mobile app
8. Design the app “skins”
9. Test your mobile app again (yes, again, again, and again)
10. Revise and continue to build
11. Refine each detail
12. Release your mobile app.
For this week’s discussion, let’s think about an idea and follow steps 1 to 4 to sketch out the functions of your app. If you think you have a great idea, you may partner with or hire a software engineer to take care of steps 5 to 12.
