1.) Design two UDL lesson plans. one for 2nd grade and the second for 8th grade.

  • Learn About Universal Design for Learning (UDL). UDL is teaching to ALL students.
  • Creating is the highest order of thinking on Bloom’s Taxonomy Revised, which you will learn about below. Get creative and have fun designing your first lesson.
  • The CCSS ELA Standards have been preselected and linked below. Use the CCSS as an anchor for your UDL. Students will produce evidence of learning based on the CCSS.
  • The two UDL lessons must be on a teaching point relevant to the Equity/Inclusion/Diversity TOPIC and support the teaching of Equity/Diversity/Disability Awareness/Inclusion in the classroom. Note: I already picked the topic is “culturally Responsive Teaching” or ” Culturally relevant pedagogy”.
