Find 2 to 3 quantitative studies that relate to your research topic. Analyze the data collection and results sections of the study paying close attention to the charts and graphs that represent and display the data. Integrate some of these charts or graphs into your literature review and explain how this data relates to your study. Make sure to incorporate this information into the review. Avoid just adding this section to the end of the review. This information should continue the natural flow of the document not cause a disruption to it. Be sure to address elements such as sampling method, type of statistical study, measures of central tendency, distribution, probability, correlation vs. causation, etc. as applicable and any other analysis elements you feel are relevant to include. Discuss how the authors use these elements to validate the results of the study which, in turn, make it an appropriate source to use in your literature review. Be sure to display the charts and graphs in APA format.
