Part 1………….Submit a Word document with the Introduction to your Brief Report. Briefly, your Introduction should be between 2-4 paragraphs, describe why your topic area is important/needed, and how your measure captures this area. You will need to cite information in-text that is not considered “common knowledge” as needed (APA or AMA style).
As a reminder for when you’re writing your Introduction, keep in mind:
1: Why is your topic area important?
2: Particularly for older adults, why is your topic area important?
3: How does your measure capture your topic area? (Think about the questions or the actions you ask someone to do as part of the test.)
Part 2…….Submit a Word document with the Methods to your Brief Report. Briefly, your Methods should be between 2-6 paragraphs and describe exactly how you collected your data in such a way that someone else could repeat it. You will need to cite information in-text that is not considered “common knowledge” as needed (APA or AMA style). Utilize subheadings as needed.
As a reminder for when you’re writing your Methods, keep in mind:
1: Description of participants (How did you find them? Who did you include?).
2: Description of measurements and procedures (the measure you used, describe it).
3: A description of any statistics you did (mean, median, range, etc.) or any comparisons you made.
