Students are asked individually to research for references (at least 4 books) which discuss one of the architectural periods listed below (Wikipedia is not expectable). The assignment is a compilation of creative sketches and drawings that capture the important characteristics of your selected architectural era and their links to factors affecting them. Present the drawings and annotations professionally.
Each student will choose one key buildings that represents the studied era. The compilation is a personal record of what you see as important or significant within that period of architecture. The
compilation should be a comprehensive review of the cultural and architectural period, considering the following:
1. Context: factors such as Cultural, Social, Political, Religious and etc.
2. Architectural characteristics, construction materials and technology.
